Spinal Anesthesia Needles and Matched Point Sets
Intended for the administration of regional anesthesia through access of the spine
These needle sets are manufactured to strict standards providing assurance of perfectly "matched bevels". They incorporate Type 304 Stainless Steel Needles and Stylets (Obturators) to assure needle point strength, sharpness and integrity of point geometry. The brass chrome plated needle lock hubs and stylet caps have matching serial numbers to facilitate matching after sterilization. Care is taken to align the point of the needle with the flat of the hub. The hub slot and cap guide are aligned with the point of the needle for easier orientation. This careful matching helps to prevent seepage.
Quincke Babcock Needles and Thin Wall Intravenous Anesthesia and Cardiovascular Needles are designed for the anesthesia of the lower body area by injection into the subarachnoid space surrounding the spinal cord. They are also used in cardiovascular procedures.
