Cadence Science has developed these specially treated needles to meet the increased demands for IN VITRO FERTILIZATION procedures. We offer various lengths for TRANSVAGINAL SONOGRAPHICALLY GUIDED OOCYTE RETRIEVAL through FOLLICLE ASPIRATION. The longer length Needles permit TRANSVAGINAL PUNCTURE as an alternative with VAGINAL probe. The Needle is introduced through the vaginal fornix into the ovary and, in cases of a high ovary, a TRANSVAGINAL-TRANSVESICAL procedure may be used. With the specially treated point, Ultrasound visualizes all medium and large follicles as well as the needle tip. As a growing alternative to LAPAROSCOPY, this simple effective procedure can be achieved on an outpatient basis.
